Colour for two bedrooms

I've just moved into a new apartment and am looking to paint two bedrooms. The living room and hall way are adjacent to both rooms and both are painted in something like terracota orange/ochre clay/natural clay on one/ two walls and a neutral colour on the remaining walls. I would like the chosen colour to somehow go with the tone of the terracotta colour (photo1). Perhaps continuing with earthy colours. The floors in all rooms are quite an old "yellow" flooring. The first smaller bedroom (2.5x3.5) faces east and will have mostly plain wooden furniture. The second bedroom is larger and will be a guest room/craft room /home office. It currently has a large ikea pax wardrobe in a grey beige colour. It will get doors in the same colour

Hello! :) I'm happy to help you, but if I am to be able to give you good colour advice, I need the NCS-code or the Jotun colour name for the colours that will be kept. You can visit your nearest Jotun-retailer and borrow a colour scanner or an NCS-colour fan deck to find the colour. This will help me find good matches. I think your Pax wardrobe is LADY 1939 Sandbeige (S3005-Y20R). Looking forward to hearing from you. :)

Hi! Thanks for your help :) I wasn’t able to borrow a colour scanner from any hardware shop, but looking at some colour cards the best match I have found for the main colour is Savannah sunset. The neutral colour is super hard to match, but is close to Kalk, Tidløs or Tudor which all look the same to me 😅

I understand. Based on the pictures, I think it looks like LADY 10341 Kalk, given the darkness of the "neutral" walls. For the bedroom, I recommend that you test LADY 2024 Senses; it pairs well with both LADY 10341 Kalk and LADY 20046 Savanna Sunset. For the guest room/home office, I think LADY 8252 Green Harmony will be cozy and lovely; it works very well alongside LADY 1939 Sandbeige, which I believe is the color of your wardrobe. :)
