New colour for living room

Hello, I would like some help with choosing a color for my living room. I’m based in Copenhagen and have a south facing room. The floors are darker brown oak , I want a colour with depth, creamy without being yellow in the sunshine but also not flat in the wintertime. A cosy feeling. The rooms adjacent I have used Sophisticated red and also in the kitchen cabinets I have used antique green. On the wall at the moment I have little green slaked lime mid, in the sun it’s creamier but without sun it’s very cool. ( I’ve added I an a few pictures at the end of colours I like)

Since you already have 2951 SOPHISTICATED RED and 7629 ANTIQUE GREEN in the adjoining rooms, I strongly recommend choosing either 12313 SOFT DUNES or 1832 SKANDINAVISK LYS for the living room. Both colours will balance the richness of the other rooms and create a calm transition, and I think they’ll work especially well with the warm tone of your flooring. :)

Thank you. I’ve had a look at both colours, do they have the tendency to go golden in the sunshine? Prior to the wall colour I had on now, I had farrow and ball slipper satin and in the sunshine it was very golden. I’ll will attach a picture of how it looked

1832 SKANDINAVISK LYS has a higher proportion of added red than Slipper Satin, which will help counteract the yellow tint. You could also consider 1376 FROSTRØYK or 0486 SILKE, as both are more neutral in tone. :)

Good morning Thank you for the recommendation. I have sampled the Skandiavisk and I will go with that one. What colours can you recommend for the ceiling and the woodwork for this colour in this room Also how does it behave in the winter time south facing, does it go grey? Tak

If you want a white ceiling and white details, I’d recommend going with 1001 EGGHVIT. It gives a clean, cohesive look. Still, it could be worth considering a more characterful tone like 12125 IMPRESSION. Adding color to the ceiling can completely transform the room. A more interesting ceiling draws the eye upward, which makes the space feel larger and more dynamic. And since the room is south‑facing with warm light, I don’t think the colors will appear gray or dull during winter. :)
